Our permit prices have always been low to provide affordable fishing for all and any children aged 12 and under can now fish free (under 12 advised to fish with an adult that has purchased a permit).
Please note it is illegal to fish without a permit, if caught without a permit you will incur a penalty fee.

Once you have ordered I will send your permit 1st class to you unless it is for use within a week (as it may not get to you in time) please let secretary know when for and a confirmation email will be sent to you in this instance to use as your permit.

Day/Week Permits - Please ONLY PURCHASE ON DAY/1ST DAY OF USE and use your PayPal receipt as your permit which is only valid that day for day permits and from 1st day purchased for weekly permits. If you are fishing for Salmon/Sea Trout you must also email secretary to let her know (REQUIRED BY MARINE SCOTLAND). email: secretarybaa@yahoo.co.uk
If using day/week permit from day of purchase please use the PayPal receipt as your permit if asked. If for use after purchase day, i.e. if purchasing in advance, then please let secretary know date/s you wish permit for and they will either send permit in post or within a week will email you confirmation to use as your permit.

FISHING FOR SALMON/SEA TROUT REQUIREMENT - please let us know via email or "thank you for your purchase" link below what species you are fishing for. We are now required by Marine Scotland to report rod days for salmon & Sea Trout, therefore, if you are intending to fish for salmon/Sea Trout it would be greatly appreciated if you let us know.
CATCH RETURNS REQUIREMENT - Could you please fill in catch return form on website or send an email to secretarybaa@yahoo.co.uk for all fish caught.
Also could you please let us know if you have TRIED to fish for Salmon/Sea Trout even if you were not successful in catching any - this is a requirement of MARINE SCOTLAND.

Spey Dam Boat Hire 2025
NOT AVAILABLE SEASON CLOSED, should be back on the Dam by mid May 2025
The Club has two boats available on Spey Dam.

Boats are Not Available yet (prob mid May before put on loch depending on water levels)​

These can be booked buy clicking on "Book Appointment" button below or if need help by contacting the secretary by email, telephone, text or Facebook, details below.
​
Anyone using the boats does so at their own risk and you are advised to clean touchpoint surfaces with hand sanitizers or wipes (60% alcohol based) before and after use.
​
PLEASE NOTE: You MUST bring and use your own buoyancy aid, which must be worn while on the boat at all times.
​
Unfortunately there are no electric motors to hire at present.
